At CDI, we like to keep things simple for anyone to enroll and start learning. Basic requirements for admission are:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Completion of Diving Physical
As an international student, obtaining a visa will be your first order of business after being accepted into Commercial Divers International. Once granted a visa, you'll want to accomplish the following in preparation for your move to America:
There are several steps to apply for a visa. Please consult the instructions available on the embassy or consulate website where you intend to apply.
Complete the Online Non-immigrant Visa Application, Form DS-160:
Complete online visa application. Print application confirmation page and bring to your visa interview.
While completing online Form DS-160, prospective student will upload their photo. Photo must be in the format explained in Photograph Requirements.
Complete your CDI Online Application.
Send copies of your travel documents to our Admissions Department as soon as possible.
Electronically wire your tuition- International students pay the same tuition rate as in-state students. International students may qualify for the CDI Opportunity Grant, which is an award you can take advantage of to offset college expenses early on, and an opportunity for us to welcome you as you start your CDI experience.
Arrange travel and Housing to the U.S.
